De Finse horrorpunkformatie The Ghoulstars heeft hun debuutsingle "Too Ghoul For School" uitgebracht, als voorbode van hun eerste langspeler The Dark Overlords Of The Universe. Het album verschijnt op 15 mei via het label Season Of Mist. Muzikaal mixt de band punkrock en heavy metal met invloeden uit horror- en tienerfilms; die sfeer komt terug in zowel de albumhoes als de zojuist verschenen videoclip voor de single.

De plaat telt tien nummers, waaronder de single "Too Ghoul For School", de titelsong "The Dark Overlords Of The Universe", "Zombie Apocalypse" en "The Brain That Wouldn't Die".
